iron sharpens iron.
when I was in high school, all the best hoopers on our side of town would meet up at North Springs Park on Saturday mornings and hoop til' Big Mark told everybody the gym was closed for the day.
soon as we left that gym, that everybody might end up at KP playing outside,
or at somebody's outside court in the cul de sac.
I remember just hoopin' all the time as kid.
and that's what the runs are for.
the goal is to get guys & girls in the gym playing ball all the time.
Really competing against each other.
if I am truly honest, the lack of higher IQ players in today's game is due to the lack of pick up basketball being played.
see pick up is where you can really go out on the court and hone your craft.
pick up is where you can go out and make a mistake or two, and nobody really start trippin'.
pick up is where you can try that move you been working on in workouts.
pickup is where you gain your confidence.
So, we're going to open gyms as much possible to provide a very safe, and also very ,very competitive environment for Our City's Talent to come in and work on their game.
there's a lot of opportunity out there.
be ready to cease the opportunity when the time presents itself.
so, stay ready.
& always put in that work.
whether its on the court.
or film work.
Grow Everyday.

Columbia, South Carolina is one of the top basketball cities in the country.
And it has been since Alex English (currently ranked 22nd on the NBA's All-Time Scoring list) walked the halls of Dreher High School.
and in the last 5 years, Columbia has produced a nice roster of NBA Level talent.
Dillon.
GG.
Ju.
Gort.
Jarrell.
And let's not forget PJ.
Shout to him runnin' his race and gettin' back where he belongs.
But, with that in mind, you can't help but think that we're going to keep producing high level talent.
I mean, the City has been doing it since the eighties.
with Tyrone Corbin.
X.
Marcus Saxon.
Jo Jo English.
Real Legends.
iykyk.
And what about those late 90's Keenan teams with Buddy, Thurm, Cootney and them.
It's talent all over the city.
we been like that.
It's talent in Irmo.
It's talent in the southeast, by HopTown.
It's talent on the River.
On Monticello.
in Lexington.
in Chapin.
in Ridgeway.
in Lugoff.
in Camden.
morale of the story is.
it's a ton of talent around the Midlands.
And I'm just here to use the gifts God gave me when he created me,
and have His will be done on Earth as it is in heaven.
and by providing gym time, creating new exposure platforms, and in the near future, building our own state of the art facility for Our City's Youth,
we know we will be doing great work in this community for generations to come.
That's why I started doing what I do.
Thank You God.
